Ryan J. Almusawi is the founder of Clarion Tax & Advisory, a modern firm helping individuals, businesses, and nonprofits navigate taxes and finances with clarity and confidence. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, he takes a practical, results-driven approach: focused not just on compliance, but on helping clients make smarter financial decisions. Since launching the firm in 2023, Ryan has built a growing base of clients and long-term advisory relationships, including nonprofit organizations that rely on his firm for consistent reporting and strategic insight. Ryan’s story started long before Clarion. Raised by a single mother in a first-generation household, he learned early how to adapt, work, and create opportunity. At 11 years old, he founded Charitable Crusaders, a nationally recognized youth-led nonprofit focused on community service and disaster relief. That work led to national recognition and media features in Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, ABC News, and NBC News—early validation of both his leadership and his drive to make an impact. As the son of a Mexican-American mother and an Iraqi immigrant father, Ryan brings a grounded, real-world perspective to everything he builds.

At his core, Ryan is an educator. He holds a BBA in Marketing and a Master of Professional Accountancy from The University of Texas Permian Basin, and serves as an adjunct instructor at Tarrant County College, where he teaches accounting and genuinely enjoys helping people “get” numbers for the first time. He’s passionate about making tax and financial concepts simple, practical, and usable—especially for people who were never taught how money works. While he avoids the label of “influencer,” he consistently shares insights rooted in real experience. His mission is straightforward: make complex things simple, and help people build real financial confidence.
